Preliminary Report

Investigation at Private Residence,2nd floor. West Chester, PA   
 

Equipment used:  Laser Tape Measure, EMF Reader, ELF Reader, Digital Camera, Digital Compass with Temperature Readout, Digital Tape Recorder with External Microphone, various flashlights  
 

The investigation of the complete 2^nd Floor started immediately after the meeting scheduled for 10:00 am, Saturday morning on April 22, 2006. 
 

Carol, Kim and myself took our equipment upstairs and started out in the master bedroom which is located at the front of the house.  We started with mapping out our floor plans, locating all electrical outlets, light switches and any artificial source of electrical current.  Once that was done, the temperature was recorded as well as EMF readings around the complete perimeter of the room and working our way in to the center of the room.  We noted all readings whether they were from an artificial source or from something else.  I also took several pictures from my Sony Mavica digital camera.  These steps were repeated in the hallway, middle office, back office, hallway outside the bathroom and the bathroom itself.  Once done this, we received direction from Mark to start EVP work on the entire upstairs.  We started in the master bedroom again with a digital tape recorder, equipped with an external microphone.  We stationed our EMF readers at three different locations in the room and noted the time and temperature.  The first ten minutes were done in complete silence.  Once those ten minutes were up, we proceeded to ask a variety of questions leaving approximately a minute between each question for a possible answer.  Again, this same procedure was repeated in each room upstairs.  When doing the EVP work in the back office, during the 10 minutes of silent taping we all heard a voice.  I personally could not make out any word, it sounded like a murmur to me and I couldn’t tell if it was a male or female voice. Also, in the master bedroom, middle office and back office it seemed that the EMF readers, that were positioned in each room during the EVP taping, were reacting to our questions.  As soon as we would ask a question, they would spike to a 4 or more simultaneously  and then would all quiet down together as if they were ready for another question.  It was quite interesting.  There were several areas where we noted unexplainable EMF readings throughout the 2^nd floor, the bureau between the master bedroom windows, around the tread mill, all around the bed, along the banister in the hallway,  center of the room in the back office, in the bathroom at the sink and the commode.  It was an extremely interesting day.
