PRELIMINARY REPORT
INVESTIGATION/TRAINING
Private Residence, WEST CHESTER, PA
SATURDAY, APRIL 22, 2006
PRESENT: MARK AND KAT, CAROL, KIM, CINDY, RUTH, ISAAC,
MICHELLE, RYAN AND HIS FATHER (DOCUMENTARY TEAM)
At 10:00 am , we gathered in the living room for a brief meeting and
instructions for the investigation. Myself, Cindy, and Kim were assigned
to do EVP’s on the 2nd Floor. We started by doing a floor plan of each
room, hallway, and bathroom. Each one of us took a turn mapping out a
room while the other 2 took base readings with EMF, ELF, and
thermometer. We included measurements, and locations of all outlets,
lights, computers, heating ducts, and anything that would or could cause
and artificial reading on the meters.
BASE READINGS
While we were doing the floor plans and taking the base readings, we all
experienced several spikes of the EMF meters throughout the 2nd floor.
While mapping the master bedroom, I had gone up to the dresser (located
between the windows), and got an EMF reading of 5. I scanned the meter
around the dresser and it maintained the reading. I opened the top
drawer and the EMF went to 0. I closed the drawer and it went back up to
a 5. I did the same with the 2nd drawer and it did the same thing. I
also noticed a 3 inch portion of the top/middle of the dresser that
seemed/looked different from the sections around it. I touched it and it
felt clammy to the touch. The other areas around it did not feel that
way. I was also getting high EMF readings around the treadmill (located
to the right of the dresser). The EMF was reading 4 and 5 just around
the treadmill where you would stand. The reading went from the floor to
about 3 ½ to 4 feet. We also had higher EMF readings (between 3 and 4)
on the bed itself. We did have all of our equipment bags there, but we
weren’t getting any readings directly from those bags.
We moved to the back office to map out the room. We again started to get
higher EMF readings. This room is small and has several sources of
artificial energy, but everything was turned off. We held the meters
close to all these sources, and got very low (if any) readings at all.
We went into Middle office. This is an electronic heaven! We did our
floor plan and took our base readings. Nothing was turned on and our
base readings were minimal.
We went into the bathroom and we were getting base readings on the EMF
of 2 – 3 around the sink and toilet areas.
The hallway was the last area to measure, take temps and base EMF
readings. We had EMF readings of 3-4 around the stairs and hall closet
(near the hinges). This reading also moved down the hall. We measured
the height of the readings and nothing was higher than 4 feet from the
floor.
Throughout the floor plans…EMF, ELF, Temp base readings were done along
with digital pictures taken with Cindy’s digital camera.
INVESTIGATION
Once our floor plans were done, Mark met with us and demonstrated the
EVP equipment. We used a hand held digital recording device with an
external microphone. We were told to start the recording in each room
and stay silent for 10 minutes. As we were doing this, we wrote up some
questions to be asked in the next portion of the investigation and along
with monitoring the temp and EMF meters that had been placed in several
locations of the room. After the 10 minutes of silence, we asked
questions and waited between 30 and 60 seconds before asking the next
question.
ROOM # 1 MASTER BEDROOM
EMF meters were placed in 2 locations of this room: 1 on the bed and 1
on the floor near the dresser. The Temp was 68 degrees and was being
monitored by Kim. Cindy was located on the bed, Kim was on the floor
near the dresser and I was in the corner on the opposite side of the
room. I held the recorder and external microphone. We turned on the
recorded and did the 10 minutes of silence. The 2 EMF meters would go
off simultaneously and had a constant reading of 3 – 4. The temp started
to rise. After the 10 minutes of silence, Cindy started to ask the
questions*. As Cindy was reading the questions, the EMF meters would
react to the question. The readings were between 3 and 4. Then the
meters would stop after about 30 seconds. Cindy would ask the next
question and the same thing would happen. The temp in the room started
to rise during the questions. We took digital pictures during this
period also with Cindy’s digital camera.
The ending temp reading in the room was 70 degrees.
ROOM # 2 BACK OFFICE/BACK BEDROOM
We set up 3 EMF meters in this room. 1 was located on a stack of papers
near the computer table, 1 was located by the window, and 1 was located
by the door leading out to the hallway. Temp reading was 74 degrees.
When we started the silent portion of the recording, we were all seated
quietly. A few minutes into this I heard a woman’s voice. I looked at
Kim and Cindy and realized that they had heard it too. I could hear her
words, but I only made out the word “WHY”. I heard that clearly. The EMF
meters were going off simultaneously once again in this room. The
readings were between 4 and 5. The temp rose to 75 degrees. We then went
to the questions and once again the EMF meters would start and stop
together.
Then temp at the end was 72 degrees.
ROOM # 3 MIDDLE OFFICE/MIDDLE BEDROOM
We had 2 EMF meters located in this room. 1 was located by the rear door
connecting to the master bedroom, and 1 was located by the door leading
to the hallway. We had readings from 2 ½ to 5, but these were all
located near equipment that might be giving off enough energy to cause
these readings. The recordings and questions were done with very little
EMF readings.
AREA # 4 HALLWAY
We spread out in the long hallway. I was located in front of the back
office, Cindy was in the middle by the 2 steps, and Kim was located in
front of the master bedroom. Kim had a long range listening device and
an EMF meter. Cindy had the recorder and mic, and I had an EMF meter
along with the digital camera. I was getting EMF readings of 3 –
4…pretty steady from the floor up to around 4 feet. Temp. was 72
degrees. I took some digital camera shots.

REPORT FOR INVESTIGATION
PRIVATE RESIDENCE — WEST CHESTER, PA

PRESENT: MARK, KAT, CAROL, AND KIM
START TIME: 9:00PM
I was assigned to investigate the upstairs office with Mark. We had
several pieces of equipment with us.

After taking base readings with the EMF and ELF meters, we sat at
opposite ends of the room. I had a digital camera to take stills and I
had a ELF meter to sweep the room from time to time. Mark set up a
digital camcorder and had a listening device with headphones. After
several minutes I heard voices (which Mark confirmed), but we couldn’t
say if they were inside or coming from outside of the house. I took
several pictures during this investigation throughout the room. I then
heard heavy footsteps at the top of the stairs and on the landing just
outside of the office we were in. We both acknowledged that we were
hearing them and listened until they stopped. Mark used the walkie
talkie to contact Kat and Kim downstairs and asked if anyone had come
upstairs. They had not and they also added that the dog and cats were
downstairs also. We continued with our EVP work and then Mark asked a
series of questions, followed by a minute of silence.
We then moved out of the office and into the upstairs hallway. Mark set
up the thermometer and also set up a strobe light about ½ way between
us. I positioned myself in front of the master bedroom with my digital
camera and an EMF meter. I walked through the hallway to take a base
reading. I was getting a high reading (3.5 - 4) near the mirror in the
hall and also along the hallway leading back to the bedroom. The reading
was about chest high to the ground. With lights out and the strobe light
going, Mark asked me to take a series of 10 pictures, which I did. We
sat quietly in the hallway for awhile. My meter would go off and on
around me. We then moved downstairs to join Kat and Kim.
Research Study #1
After joining Kat and Kim downstairs in the living
room, we set up to try the pendulum scrying.
Mark had the video feedback loop going along with necromatrix (white
noise generator). Kat lead the pendulum investigation. Myself, Kim, and
Mark sat opposite her. As she began, we each stated our names. Kat
demonstrated how the pendulum worked and how she would ask questions and
the different responses that it could make. She showed us the charts
(which included the alphabet and numbers). She 1st asked is there was
someone present. The pendulum circled clockwise to signify a yes answer.
We then asked a series of questions and receiving answers each time.
This was a male, 74 years old, Turkish, a printer, worked for a company
on Union St. In West Chester. We asked if he could rap or knock on
something and I heard a knock coming from the dining room. We asked for
other signs and I heard something fall in the kitchen.
We then realized that the “male” was gone and someone else had entered
and wanted to communicate. We asked questions and each time received
answers. This was a female. Very strong. “She” had a message for Mark.
We asked is she was wearing perfume and the answer was yes. We then
asked if we could smell it. The answer was yes, and within seconds, we
all smelled a very light floral scent. We finished soon afterwards.
The investigation ended 12:30 am.

OUR 1ST STOP IN THE PARK WAS AT GEN. GEORGE WASHINGTON’S HEADQUARTERS.
WE WALKED AROUND THE AREA USING THE EMF DETECTORS AND TAKING PHOTOS WITH
BOTH DIGITAL AND 35 MM. WE WENT INTO THE HEADQUARTERS AND WAS GREETED BY
A COSTUMED GUIDE. SHE WELCOMED US INTO GEN. WASHINGTON’S HEADQUARTERS
AND TOLD US THAT THE HOUSE WAS BUILT PRIOR TO 1776 AND THE ONLY ORIGINAL
PARTS OF THE HOUSE WERE THE HOUSE ITSELF, THE WOOD FLOORS IN THE ROOMS,
AND THE STAIRCASE BANNISTERS. WE ASKED HER IF SHE HAD HAD ANY PARANORMAL
EXPERIENCES AND SHE SAID THAT SHE HADN’T HAD ANY HERSELF, BUT TOLD US
ABOUT ONE OF THE MALE GUIDES. HE WAS CHANGING INTO HIS COSTUME AND FELT
HANDS ADJUSTING HIS UNIFORM. HE TURNED TO THANK ONE OF THE OTHER GUIDES
AND FOUND OUT THAT HE WAS ALONE IN THE ROOM.
WE TOURED THROUGH THE HEADQUARTERS AND TOOK PICTURES AND EMF READINGS.
THE METERS WERE VERY QUIET AND REGISTERED NEAR 0. ON THE 2ND FLOOR NEAR
ONE OF THE FRONT BEDROOMS I WITNESSED A QUICK FLASH OF LIGHT THAT
OCCURRED NEAR THE BACK WALL OF THE BEDROOM, OVER KIM’S LEFT SHOULDER. I
ASKED IF SHE HAD TAKEN A PICTURE, BUT WE BOTH LOOKED DOWN TO SEE OUR
CAMERAS BY OUR SIDES. WE ALSO WAITED TO SEE IF MAYBE IT HAD BEEN A
LIGHTNING STRIKE, BUT DIDN’T HEAR ANY THUNDER. KIM ALSO STATED THAT SHE
SAW A FLASH OUT OF THE CORNER OF HER EYE. NOTHING NOTED IN ANY OF THE
PHOTOS.
WE LEFT THE HEADQUARTERS AND WALKED THE PATH NEXT TO THE TRAIN STATION
AND A FEW RESTORED LOG CABINS. WE DIDN’T GET ANY READINGS AT ALL DURING
THE WALK BACK TO THE VEHICLE.
WE THEN DROVE OVER TO THE VALLEY FORGE MEMORIAL CHAPEL. WE PARKED NEAR
THE CHAPEL AND GOT OUT TO WALK AROUND THE PARKING LOT. WE EACH HAD EMF
METERS, DIGITAL CAMERA, AND 35 MM CAMERA. AS WE WALKED AROUND THE LOT IN
FRONT OF THE CHAPEL, OUR EMF METERS REGISTERED BETWEEN A 2 AND 5.5.
THERE ARE NO LIGHTS, AND VISIBLE ELECTRICAL SOURCES. THERE ARE ALSO 2
CANNON IN FRONT OF THE CHAPEL. THE EMF READING ALONG THE CANNON RANGED
FROM 2 – 5. THE BASE OF THE CANNON REGISTERED 0. KIM THEN EXCHANGED HER
35 MM CAMERA FOR HER SONY HI 8 VIDEO RECORDER AND WE PROCEEDED TO WALK
THROUGH WITH MYSELF DOING THE EMF READINGS, WHILE SHE VIDEO TAPED IT. WE
WALKED AROUND THE PARKING LOT ONCE AGAIN. THE READINGS WERE PRETTY MUCH
THE SAME AS THE 1ST TIME WITH SOME VARIANCES IN CERTAIN PLACES. WE THEN
ENTERED ONE OF THE ALCOVES AND HALLWAY THAT RUNS NEXT TO THE CHAPEL. THE
EMF READINGS WERE A STEADY 3 – 4 ALONG THE HALLWAY TO ABOUT 6 FEET HIGH.
WE ENTERED A BELL TOWER AND WALKED AROUND IN THERE. WE GOT SPORADIC
READINGS THROUGHOUT THE TOWER. WE THEN PROCEEDED INTO THE CHAPEL ITSELF.
WE COULDN’T ENTER THE ALTER AREA AT ALL (BLOCKED BY A CHAIN). WE STARTED
TO GO DOWN THE CENTER AISLE AND GOT AN EMF READING ON THE 4TH PEW. IT
READ A 4 ON THE METER. WE CONTINUED DOWN THE ENTIRE AISLE AND GOT A 0 ON
THE METER THE WHOLE WAY DOWN AND BACK UP. WHEN WE REACHED THE 4TH PEW
AGAIN, THE METER WENT UP TO A 4. WE EXAMINED THE AREA AROUND IT AND
FOUND NOTHING ARTIFICIAL AT ALL. ON THE FLOOR GOING DOWN THE CENTER OF
THE AISLE, THERE WERE LARGE BRASS PLACQUES. ALL OF THEM REGISTERED A 0
EXCEPT THE 1 CLOSEST TO THE FRONT. WE GOT READINGS OF 3 – 4 ON THE ENDS
OF THAT ONE. WE ALSO GOT HIGH READINGS IN THE FRONT PEW. I PUT THE METER
ON THE BIBLES THAT WERE LAID THERE AND GOT A 0, BUT WHEN I PUT THE METER
ON THE SAME BIBLES ON THE ACTUAL PAGES, I GOT A 4. THIS HAPPENED SEVERAL
TIMES. ALSO, WHEN WE WERE WALKING TOWARDS THE SIDE OF THE CHAPEL, MY
METER WENT OFF AND WE FELT A SLIGHT COOL BREEZE GO THROUGH. THEN THE
METER WENT BACK TO A 0. WE THEN LEFT THE CHAPEL AND WALKED AROUND THE
BACK AND GOT THE CAR AND DROVE DOWN INTO THE CEMETARY LOCATED BEHIND THE
CHAPEL. WE STOPPED A FEW TIMES AND WALKED AROUND WITH OUR METERS, BUT
DIDN’T GET ANY READINGS AT ALL. WE LEFT THE PARK AROUND 4:30PM
